On Sept 11th,2001 the world watched a very horrifying tragedy. My thoughts and prayers goes out to all the familys. May God be with you in your time of sorrow. Yesterday,I seen a message online that read,"Where was God on Sept 11th." We all know, some are gonna say this but God is not too blame. The God I know is not cruel, senceless or a coward.I came across a pamplet yesterday,"Titled," ATTACK on America! From Tragedy to triumph,BY MARK FINLEY. I found the article so very true. One statement he makes, "The World we live in is the battleground between intense hatred and incredible love." He states,God values freedom. He allows men and women to make choices even if those choices are terribly wrong and evil. His only other option would be to remove their freedom of choice altogether. Then they would become mere human machines-robots. God allows evil to run its course, but he is always there in the midst of human suffering. He says,He is there sustaining, strengthening, and supporting. He is there encouraging the brokenhearted and embracing the bruised. One day we will look up and see Jesus. One day,we will live with him forever. One day, all of our tragedies will fade away in the glorious light of His final triumph. Mark Finley is host of It Is Written, aweekly international telecast. Check your local television listing for broadcast times or visit: www.iiw.org. Thank You Mr Finley for your words. May God Bless You and Your family! | |
God is our refuge and strength. In the midst of our personal pain and grief,God is there. Where was God when terror rained from the sky that fateful September morning? Where could you see him? You could see him in the selfless people who patiently helped injured co-workers down 80 flights of stairs! You could see him in the scores of firefighters and police officers who rushed into harms way.You could see him in all the people who rushed to give blood or make donations or volunteer their time.
He says in his article, Everytime you saw unselfish love,God was there. And I will remind you that the greatest act of unselfish love this universe has ever witnessed still speaks to us from a bloodstained cross on a rugged hill called Calvery. |
